Ambassador Staffing is looking for a reliable Machine Operator to work a Slitter Machine for a busy manufacturing facility in the Belmont area.
The Slitter Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a manual slitter and/or automatic slitter machine
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Reliable and wants to work.
- Math skills, need to be able to read a tape measure.
- Heavy lifting up to 120 pounds, assisted.
- Spreading material to the appropriate length of pre-cut panels.
- Setting up a Slitter Machine for the correct sizes to be cut.
- Manage handling and packaging of finished slit rolls, and monitor slitter while in run mode.
- Communicate with off going and on-coming Slitter Operators to ensure proper handoff and focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
