Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Are you a Occupational Therapist wanting a change of scenery for the 2024-2025schoolyear? We have a full-time position with a school district located in a tight-knit community. You would be dealing with a K-12th grade caseload. Please reach out to me if you are or somebody you know is interested in this position after scanning through the details below!

Job Details:
  • Onsite location near the Spirit Lake, Idaho area
  • Start in August
  • # students/ageson caseload TBD
  • 1 or more school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
  • Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license in Idaho
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
