Job Description:
As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students. Working closely with teachers and other educational professionals, you will assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing personalized support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to implement instructional strategies that meet the unique needs of students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during classroom activities and instruction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Support students in accessing curriculum materials and resources, adapting materials as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies as directed by teaching staff.
  • Provide support during assessments and evaluations, including administering tests and recording data.
  • municate regularly with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on strategies for student success.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably as a paraprofessional or instructional aide.
  • Understanding of educational principles and practices, including familiarity with special education programs and strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support the academic and developmental growth of students.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and fulfill any other requirements mandated by state regulations for paraprofessionals
