Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Casino operations at all timesand in all activities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and externalcustomers of the Quinault Beach Resort & Casino operations. Develop solutions for customer concerns andcontinual focus on customer service as our top priority.
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and employees.
Effectively manage time.
Meet or exceed productivity standards.
Control guest checks issued.
Fill requisitions to par levels.
Stock bars as wells as assigned.
Clean bar, bar walk-ins and liquor storage areas as assigned.
Balance bank and daily receipts.
Check guests for proper identification.
Detect and act upon customer inebriation as trained.
Set lounge and hors d'oeuvres as assigned.
Be present at bar at all times.
Professionally deal with difficult situations/people.
Must constantly meet deadlines.
Must pay continuous attention to the preparation of drinks, the handling of money, the operation of the cashregister.
Proper preparation and presentation of drink products to guests.
Comply at all times with QBR standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations.
Maintain a neat and organized work area.
Travel to conferences.
Entertain potential guests/clients.
Adhere to all QBRC Personnel Policies and Procedures, Title 97 and TERO Policies, and HR Standard OperatingProcedures.

Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled in an equivalency program.
One (1) year of bartending experience
Display knowledge of drink recipes, drink and wine merchandising specials.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
Knowledge of third party liability.
Read, write, and speak English fluently.
Liquor intoxication control training.
Knowledge of drink recipes, drinks, wine specials and merchandising.
Knowledge of liquor laws.
Knowledge of basic drink service and bar terminology.
Food Handler's Permit.

Preferred:
Two years of experience.
