HMEO Driver

The Town of Shandaken Highway department is seeking applications for an HMEO Driver. *Must have Clean CDL* *Must have heavy equipment operating experiance* *Must be available for overtime* *Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings* $27.49 per hour - 6:30-3:00 M-F Benefits & retirement available upon permanent appointment. This is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent placement application can be picked up from Cara Grant at the Shandaken Town Hall.

Shandaken’s Highway Department maintains all town roads and bridges. The Highway Department is administered by the Highway Superintendent, an elected official. The Town of Shandaken is located just 2.5 hours from New York City. There are twelve hamlets that comprise the Town of Shandaken including - Mount Pleasant, Mount Tremper, Phoenicia, Woodland Valley, Chichester, Shandaken, Allaben, Bushnellsville, Big Indian, Oliverea, Pine Hill, and Highmount. Shandaken has always taken pride in its strong mountain rural character and natural resources including thousands of acres of forever wild forestland, abundant wildlife, wetlands, water resources and unique natural areas that contribute greatly to the quality of life.
