Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Wholesale Picker Packer picks and packs merchandise for shipment and prepares all necessary paperwork. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product handled. Pick products according to order, either manually or with electronic scanning devices. Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies, and procedures.

Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Pick products according to order, either manually or with electronic scanning devices
  • Lifts, stacks, and arranges product on a pallet in preparation for shipment.
  • Wraps product, trays, and cartons with plastic, by hand or by using wrapping machine.
  • Verifies correct product(s) and quantity of each item are present.
  • Generates labels and prepares paperwork necessary for order shipment.
  • Able to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment and around industrial equipment.
  • Personally responsible for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
  • Ability to count, add and subtract.
  • Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with issues in standardized situations.

  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposed to various levels of traffic from material handling equipment
