The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for providing safe, courteous transportation service for our residents as well as coordinating vehicle preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and general repairs to ensure vehicle longevity and safety.
As a Vitality Transportation Coordinator, you will
Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean MVR that meets company insurance standards.Prior experience in a senior living setting preferred but not required.Must have excellent customer service skills and working knowledge of motor vehicle safety protocols.Compliance with state and company motor vehicle operations required at all times.

As a Vitality Transportation Coordinator, you will
- Drive vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to assigned schedule and provide assistance to residents in boarding and exiting the vehicle safely
- Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
- Establish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspections and preventative maintenance programs, maintains detailed records on the maintenance of all vehicles, and provides regular updates to department leader and ED.
- Deliver groceries, deliveries, and other items to residents' apartments.
- Assist the Engagement Director with activities and programs as requested.
