About this job
The Town of Dedham seeks qualified candidates for the position of Dispatcher to perform highly
responsible administrative and technical work dispatching fire and police on the evening and night shifts.
The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of emergency operations and the ability to
learn communication systems, handle emergency situations calmly, promptly, and efficiently while in a
crisis situation. Excellent communication, multi-tasking and attention to detail skills are required.
Hourly rate: $24.89 - $30.58 plus shift differential. The Town of Dedham offers a full benefits package
including a defined benefit pension plan.
