Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Our client, a leader in industrial packaging products and services, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, teamwork abilities and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

 
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Taylor, SC

Pay Range: $30+/h

What’s the Job?

• Work from blueprints, sketches, samples, and written or verbal instructions disassemble, assemble, install, adjust, or repair machinery and equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient manner, which supports the continuous improvement process within the facility.
• Start up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operation’s requirements.
• Diagnose and repair activities with detailed working procedures.
• Set-up, adjust, calibrate, and operate equipment; perform layout and bench work; inspect, dismantle, repair, rebuild, assemble, weld, install and lubricate machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.

What’s Needed?

• 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
