We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Hematologic Malignancies team! The Boise St. Luke's Cancer Institute (SLCI) is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to cancer patients, offering a spectrum of services from early detection to survivorship support. Within SLCI, the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program is a beacon of comprehensive care and cellular therapy for individuals battling leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic disorders, and other blood cancers. Distinctively, Boise SLCI hosts Idaho's sole BMT and Hematologic Malignancies Program, ensuring patients access to the most cutting-edge therapies in their community.

What you can expect from this role

• Part-time (0.6 FTE); day shift, 8-hour shifts x 3 days a week
• No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays

• The BMT RN is a versatile position characterized by medical guidance, educational support, and compassionate care within an interprofessional team framework
• Primary responsibilities include patient education, care coordination, phone triage, and hands-on involvement in the newly established BMT Infusion Clinic, where stem cell transplant and CAR T patients are evaluated and managed
• Committed to delivering excellence in patient care by collaborating closely with BMT providers, nurse navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates (PFAs), social workers, and other allied disciplines

Minimum qualifications for this role

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Preferred: OCN, BMTCN, Oncology experience, and/or EPIC experience
