Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, this position assists room attendants with supplies, linen and removal of trash.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions:

  • Empties dirty linen and trash from room attendant carts.
  • Strips check-out rooms. Removes dirty linen and trash.
  • Cleans elevator landings, elevator doors and all light fixtures.
  • Vacuums hallways.
  • Takes trash out to dumpster.
  • Collect dirty glasses and coffee mugs and deliver clean ones to floors.
  • Ensure linen closets are properly stocked.
  • Clean vending rooms, removes trash.
  • Checks hallway wall for scuff marks; removes marks from walls.
  • Cleans grills and vents in guests hallways.
  • Delivers and removes cots, cribs and other items from guest rooms as needed.
  • Brings down all dirty linen to laundry area.
  • Alerts F&B to any room service trays left on floors.
  • Assists Room Attendants and Public Space Attendants where needed.
  • Makes a final check on all floors for room service trays.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
