Position Summary:

In this organization, the General Manager is the management leader for the organization; this position is responsible for all day-to-day concept operations and the training of newly hired Crewmembers while achieving operational excellence. This includes all concepts in the area, development and training, food quality presentation, guest services, and the maintenance of all policies and procedures in the restaurant. The General Manager is accountable for business and training results in support of operational goals and for assisting managers and Team members in implementing training and ensuring validation occurs and achieving established key performance indicators.

Responsibilities:


  • Promotes an attitude of pride, cooperation, and success in the unit and with all Team members
  • Directly in charge of the ordering / inventory process in the unit
  • Establish and maintain the highest standards for food & beverage quality and customer service
  • Directs the Team members to achieve established goals and training paths
  • Directs the team toward achieving the Unit's service and financial goals
  • Maintains a positive work environment for management team and all Crewmembers
  • Provides a workplace free from hazards, following all safety policies set forth by the company, and conforming to any laws and regulations related to the workplace



QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business, or Culinary Arts


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of managerial experience in food and beverage
  • Proficient knowledge of P&L budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong hospitality / food and beverage knowledge
  • Commitment to service of customers, crew, co-workers and management
  • Demonstrated dependability, personal drive and leadership, ability to lead by example
  • High level of integrity, work ethic, passion, and commitment to company values
  • Ability to train, delegate, coach, and aid in the development of managers and Crewmembers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clear background check
