Electrical Contractor Warehouse Manager

Gibson Electrical LLC. is looking for an organized and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our company. The Warehouse Manager will split their time between completing deliveries and working in the warehouse. Each day will be different, depending on the needs on the jobsites. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring materials are processed, organized, and stored. The Warehouse Manager will also prepare orders and deliver materials to job-sites.

Candidate must have a valid driver's license, and no more than 2 major points on their driving record. 

The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting deadlines, comfortable driving, has a positive attitude, works well with a team and/or on their own.

The Warehouse Manager may also operate forklift, or drive equipment. Mechanical aptitude preferred. 

Knowledge of or ability to pull trailers preferred. Trailer sizes and styles range from 10 ft tilt trailer - 20 ft flatbed trailer. 

This is a Full-time position, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. 

Starting wage is based on experience and qualifications.

Warehouse Manager Duties and Responsibilities

· Sort, organize and store materials in the proper locations.

· Report damaged or missing materials to Supervisor.

· Stack and organize large bulk items.

· Remove materials from trucks or delivery to proper locations.

· Wear safety gear at all times.

· Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move materials.

· Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from area.

· Work as an active team member to complete team goals. 

Warehouse Manager Requirements and Qualifications

· VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

· High school degree or equivalent

· Able to pass drug test

· Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift

· Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to work independently

· Highly organized and able to store items efficiently

· Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations

***CDL is preferable, but not required and will be considered as a "bonus" in their work experience when considering applicant for employment***
