NPVMC provides the most up to date medical campus in Southeastern Wyoming. In addition to a 24-hour emergency room, NPVMC offers advanced imaging including ultrasound, X-Ray, digital mammography, CT, Dexa Scan, and mobile MRI capabilities. The CAH features an inpatient pharmacy, laboratory services, and physical/occupational therapy. Staffed with both full time physician and mid-level providers, the hospital will provide a healthcare solution that services the community and offers convenience to medical services.

The Town of Saratoga itself offers a family friendly, small-town community nestled between the beautiful Rocky and Sierra Madre Mountains. The Platte Valley area is highly known for its breathtaking scenery which offer hiking, camping, blue ribbon fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing to name a few. RNs are needed to fill roles in the Emergency Room, and acute care. Successful candidates for this Registered Nurse (RN) position must have the ability to critically think, work autonomously, be able to delegate efficiently, and possess effective leadership skills.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

· Accurately assess a variety of patients to determine acute needs

· Implement, review, and revise treatment plans according to patient’s status

· Work independently and efficiently

· Accurately prepare and administer medications

· Provide collaboration with providers

· Develop and maintain relationships with pre-hospital providers

· Will serve as a team leader for all nursing services within the hospital and skilled-nursing facility setting

· RNs in this position will utilize specialized knowledge, judgement, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of patients.

· Delegates appropriately and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel.

· Promotes continuity of care through effective communication to aid in further treatment of patients

REQUIREMENTS:

· Wyoming Registered Nurse license (or compact state license)

· Current ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications (ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire)

· Background check, drug screening and current TB test required upon hire
