Position: Mobility Solutions Specialist

Reports to: Manager of Mobility Solutions 

 

Job Description: The Mobility Solutions Specialist will serve as a specialized role for Mobility Solutions team reporting to the group’s manager focused on supported mobility hardware and software solutions. The primary responsibility of this role will include day to day technical support for Mobile Device Management configuration & enrollment for end users. The MSS will be required to handle specialized mobile device inventory configuration & deployment projects, including boutique kitting and device configuration onsite at the Vatic Outsourcing office. This role will have remote and in office requirements as projects require. The associate will have client facing duties include providing white glove support, delivering project updates and interfacing with technical contacts to solve challenges. 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Specialized role for Mobility Solutions team reporting to the group’s manager focused on supported mobility hardware and software solutions.
  • Day to day technical support for Mobile Device Management configuration & enrollment for end users
  • Role will be also be required to handle specialized mobile device inventory configuration & deployment projects, including boutique kitting and device configuration onsite at the Vatic Outsourcing office. This role will have remote and in office requirements as projects require.
  • Client facing duties include providing white glove support, delivering project updates and interfacing with technical contacts to solve challenges
  • Periodically interface with the Helpdesk team group to be a liaison between groups to deliver Mobility Solutions training, updates and collect feedback.
  • Participate in operational and engineering tasks with a view to grow into handling those duties
  • Develop training materials & guides for support team use
  • Obtain and maintain any key professional certifications
  • Must be able to lift 20+ lb. box of hardware, deliver boxes to shipping locations & go up and down stairs at our office with boxes/supplies

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, email) with customers, peers, direct and senior management
  • Ability to diagnose, articulate, and provide solutions for client’s technical issues
  • IOS and Android device proficiency 
  • Hardware kitting / deployment experience 
  • General customer service experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Must have strong multi-tasking skills as this position will be handling numerous projects at the same time

 

Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment. There will be remote and in-office work for this position, 

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • College Degree Preferred
  • Prior IT experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Certifications (SC-900 & MD-102) are desired

 

Travel: Some travel (locally or in the US) may be required to perform the critical functions of the job.

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

 

  • Job contingent upon a background check
  • 1+ year experience in endpoint management
