As the Admin at the Children's Refugee Shelter in partnership with Teneo Linguistics Company, your administrative expertise will underpin the daily workings of a haven for refugee children seeking solace, safety, and a new start. Engage in a role where each paperwork, phone call, and coordination become a step towards creating a positive difference in young lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the shelter.
  • Handle correspondence, manage files, and maintain organized and up-to-date records.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and assist in event planning for shelter activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the Site Manager, Program Director, and other key personnel.
  • Act as a liaison between different departments, ensuring effective communication and information flow.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring all departments are well-equipped.
  • Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in settings that cater to vulnerable populations.
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
  • Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, will be considered an advantage though not mandatory.
