West Valley Pizza & Grill in Happy Valley, CA is looking for one front-of-house team member with back-of-house experience to join our team. We are located on 5219 Happy Valley Road. Excellent customer service, self-driven, motivation, and hard work are required.

Responsibilities

• Professionalism and Friendliness is a must.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive and friendly service throughout their dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests with efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining areas, including clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and replenishing supplies.
• Assist with food preparation tasks and plate assembly during busy periods.
• Collaborate with both FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
• Fill in for BOH breaks and lunches
• FOLLOW S.O.P. AND FOOD PREP PROCEDURES.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, following proper procedures at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with tact and professionalism, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting team members and fostering a sense of teamwork and camaraderie.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a restaurant environment, with a strong understanding of FOH operations.
• Experience working in the BOH, including basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food handler's certification (preferred but not required).

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $26.00/hour.
