Line Cook

We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high-volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed. Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. $16 - $19 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Clean equipment and work surfaces at the end of each shift, including sweeping floors, mopping, and cleaning counters
• Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served
• Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructions
• Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Wash, cut, dice, chop, and slice food items to stock prep stations

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
• We prefer some experience working in the fast food or quick service restaurant industry
• Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
