Job description - Production Associates with or without sit-down forklift experience

Match Staffing has immediate openings for production associates/machine operators for a manufacturing facility located in Walterboro, SC. These are full-time temp to hire positions.

Hours: M-F 7:30a-430p.

Pay Range - $15-$20 plus an hour. based on experience.

Once an associate is hired on permanently with the company, they will receive full medical benefits paid at 100% buy the employer to include paid time off/holiday pay, life insurance of $10k (no cost to employee) and company uniforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Operating and maintaining stacker machinery and equipment.

2. Loading and unloading materials onto the stacker.

3. Ensuring proper stacking and arrangement of materials for optimum space utilization.

4. Inspecting materials for any damages or inconsistencies before stacking.

5. Reporting any identified issues or damages to the supervisor.

6. Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear during work.

7. Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

8. Sorting and organizing materials based on type, size, or other specifications.

9. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the stacker area.

10. Adhering to workplace policies and guidelines for quality control.

11. Communicating effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

1. Education and qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent is typically required, although specific educational requirements may vary.

2. Physical stamina and strength:

– Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.

– Endurance to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

3. Attention to detail:

– Ability to accurately count and inspect items being stacked, packaged and bundled to ensure proper quality and quantity.

4. Safety consciousness:

– Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures related to stacking, material handling, and machinery operation.

– Adherence to safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.

5. Manual dexterity:

– Ability to stack, package and bundle items in a neat and organized manner to maximize space utilization.

6. Communication skills:

– Basic written and verbal communication skills for relaying information to supervisors or colleagues.

– Ability to work effectively as part of a team or follow instructions independently.

7. Time management:

– Capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially in fast-paced environments where efficiency is crucial.

Requirements:

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
