SUMMARY OF ROLE:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet a set of standards. Their duties include examining shipments of inventory and raw goods, measuring the specifications of random items in each production run, and training team members to refine production quality.

The Quality Control Inspector will perform assessment, documentation, and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies, or finished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and/ or electrical measurements.
  • Perform visual inspections of PCB, PCBA, & SMT per IPC-610 F standards
  • Perform review and acceptance of manufacturing in-process inspection activities.
  • Accurately document the results of inspections and testing.
  • Identify and report all non-conforming materials per all applicable procedures.
  • Perform ready-to-run, in-process, and finished goods inspection on all manufactured products.
  • Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures.
  • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of Quality Control experience in Receiving Inspection is preferred.
  • Prefer IPC-610 Standard certification.
  • Experience working with FDA-regulated products (Medical Devices).
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 / FDA QSR 21 CFR Part 820 / 803 requirements.
  • Must be able to interpret drawings and specifications and use standard measuring gages and test equipment.
  • Must have strong communication and be proficient in the English language both written and verbal skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude desired.
  • Good arithmetic skills are required.
  • General proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access Database, and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly spreadsheets/graphical software tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and trustworthy to maintain confidentiality with complex and sensitive documents.
  • Must be able to multi-task at various times of the day.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

The salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.

  • Pay range: $85,000 - $90,000 + Annual Bonus + Stock Options
