Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our engineering team to develop cutting-edge products.
• Identify efficient production methods and recommend materials and equipment for optimal results.
• Source new materials and parts, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to improve cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Develop product specifications, engineering tests, and quality plans.
• Oversee sample model fabrication and refinement before mass production.
• Conduct performance tests to ensure designs meet or exceed requirements.
• Liaise with sales, customer service, and manufacturing teams for seamless production transitions.
• Assist in marketing efforts by reporting on design performance.
• Estimate costs for new products and revisions, providing detailed backup data.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to create Bills of Materials and labor costing.
• Provide essential information to upper management for pricing and marketing strategies.
• Act as an effective problem solver, anticipating potential issues and long-term impacts of design decisions.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, suppliers, and overseas partners.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Contribute to organizational projects.
• Attend company events and occasional sales meetings or trainings.
• Support other departments with projects and overflow work as directed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in Bill of Materials, labor costing, and engineering drawings preparation.
• Proficiency in Solidworks software.
• Strong understanding of plastic or die-cast part design, including material selection and mold design.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Pro-Engineer and product design.
