Clinical Dietitian - NICUJob Summary:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a valued member of our team, you will coordinate patient nutritional care under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. The ideal candidate must possess Pediatrics and/or NICU experience as a Dietitian.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a member of the Nutrition Support Team alongside pharmacists and physician(s).
• Conduct nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
• Educate patients on therapeutic diets.
• Inform Aide staff on allowed and disallowed patient foods based on prescribed diets.
• Document patient tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support, and make recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Commission Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Licensed Dietitian must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Dietitian in Pediatrics and/or NICU.
