Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary:

•  Greets patients in the facilities and over the phone, in a professional manner

•  Checking in patients, verifying insurance as well as updating patient demographics in EMR

•  Patient scheduling, reminder calls, and follow-up appointments

•  Communicating with patients via phone as well as office email

•  Maintains and keeps patient information confidential by adhering to the HIPAA guidelines

•   Assists doctors, nurses, and patients

•   Performs clerical and administrative tasks including but not limited to scanning, filing and faxing

Monday-Friday 9-5
