Job Posting: Paraprofessional (Full-Time Contract) - Metter, Georgia

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Paraprofessionals for a full-time contract position in Metter, Georgia. Candidates must meet all requirements set by local and state regulations. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience working with special education students and families.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or training as a paraprofessional in Georgia preferred.
• Previous experience working with special education students and families highly desired.
• Familiarity with local and state regulations governing educational support services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Duties:

• Assist teachers and special education staff in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Provide direct support to students during instructional activities, including one-on-one or small group assistance.
• Assist students with personal care tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance, as needed.
• Support classroom management efforts and implement behavior intervention strategies as directed.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to facilitate student learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and participation.
