School Psychologist Full time Contract Job

Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for an experienced School Psychologist to join our team in the Tiptonville, TN area. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within local school districts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
• Support school-wide initiatives aimed at promoting positive mental health and well-being among students and staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
• Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in school psychology.

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
• Experience working in educational settings with diverse student populations.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations pertaining to special education and mental health services in schools.
