Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Design Engineer with experience in heavy equipment manufacturing to design and develop vehicle components.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with at least 3 years of mechanical engineering experience.

• Previous experience with heavy equipment manufacturing required.

• Experience with Windchill and Catia software is mandatory.

• Mechanical knowledge specific to vehicles and vehicle components, with preference for those who have worked on John Deere/CAT or similar heavy equipment.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in designing functional, reliable, and cost-effective heavy-duty vehicle components.

• Capable of performing engineering analysis as well as designing or redesigning and developing components into existing and new vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide integration and support for the execution of vehicle and component design within a manufacturing plant environment.

• Work on next-generation postal delivery vehicles at an onsite location.

• Participate in the design process from conception through to integration, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Additional Information:

• This is an onsite role based at a manufacturing plant.

• The initial duration is 6 months with a potential extension.

• The position is open to US Citizens only; no other immigration statuses will be considered.

 

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
