This CPA firm has an urgent need for a Staff Accountant.
Located in CENTRAL TUCSON!
This Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities for an organization. Additionally, the ideal candidate will collaborate and supervise a small team of accountants.
-Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
-Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems using current computer technology.
-Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
-Maintain or examine the records of government agencies.
-Advise clients in compensation, employee health care benefits, accounting or data processing systems design, or long-range tax or estate plans.
-Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets
-Provide internal and external auditing services
-Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments
Benefits include: medical (100% employee paid) (a high deductible AND PPO option - family plan is $103 per paycheck), dental, vision, supplemental benefits, short term disability, employee paid life insurance, accidental death, PTO, 401K with safe harbor, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement and more!
Position is 100% on site, but has potential for remote in the future.
