Speech-Language Pathologist - Contract Job

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for full-time positions within school districts in the Las Vegas, NM area. Successful applicants must meet all local and state requirements for employment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Providing direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Monitoring and documenting student progress
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other school-based meetings as needed

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current state license to practice as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
