Human Resources Assistant

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, experienced, and efficient candidates for a HR Specialist to assist the HR department by performing various tasks. The HR Assistant will also be responsible for job classifications using a JAT and documentation related to HR. This position is mostly data entry based and will not require supervision of employees. This interview based position will pay dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain individual employee files
• Work with team members to resolve requests and concerns
• Developing job descriptions based off of a JAT that incumbents fill out
• Assist in preparing reports as needed using Excel and and other software
• Perform other activities as needed or as directed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
• 2+ years of related work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
• Excellent Communication Skills via written and oral
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to deal comfortably with all levels of management
• FLSA experience is a must
