Job Summary

• The Radiology Technologist is responsible to operate radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic images as directed by physicians and perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate’s degree is required.

License/Certification/Registration

• A.R.R.T. registration
• IA permit to practice
• BLS is required within six months of employment.
• Completion of the Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

• Certification in one radiology modality.  i.e. Mammo, CT, MRI is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Varied shifts; PRN
  • PRN ~as the need arise in the radiology department
  • One shift per week, day/evening shift
  • Option to participate in on call schedule ~ on call pay available

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $25.00 - $37.75 per hour
