Job description (Position: IT / Data Analysis)  

Summary: The Network Services Designer will plan and design telecommunications networks and infrastructures to meet the organizations or clients’ needs.  

Responsibilities  

• Collaborates with users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors to understand the end users' needs and to determine the appropriate network installation and hardware. 
• Develops, designs, specifies, and documents LAN and WAN configurations based on user needs; uses outside resources as needed. 
• Designs proposed network systems, indicating placement and layout of hardware and peripheral devices including hubs, routers, and other equipment. 

• Collaborates with the network administrator to review and analyze hardware needs; recommends changes. 
• Facilitates the network design, revision, implementation, and refinement process. 
• Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and new technology related to networking infrastructure. 
• Data Analysis 
• Develop and manage IT Systems to streamline the work of our team. 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

What you should have:    

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
• Basic understanding of existing network programs and capabilities. 
• Excellent workstation and network troubleshooting skills. 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
• Desire to succeed.    
• Ability to pass Drug Screen and Background Testing  

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent network experience required. 
• At least three years of experience in network maintenance and support preferred. 

• A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications highly preferred. 

Physical Requirements:  

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
• Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
