TranSouth Logistics specializes in trucking, deliveries, and warehousing. Our distribution centers are located throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to join our team in Braselton, GA! The Analyst is responsible for maintaining a high standard of inventory accuracy.

Position Details:

  • Salary: $46,500 annually (potential to earn quarterly incentives)
  • Shift: Full-time 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday - Friday
  • Travel to other locations: 10% – 15% of the time
  • Location: 1001 Cherry Drive Ste 300, Braselton, GA 30517

Responsibilities:

  • Process RGA (returned goods) credits from RGA logs and email requests.
  • Review and conduct analysis of Inventory Control Requests database to identify trends for process improvements.
  • Conduct research to determine if credit should be issued for entries in database.
  • Participate in the handling of new request(s) in Inventory Control Request database – order discrepancies and cancellations.
  • Participate in the handling of new requests in the Inventory Control Request Database.
  • Review and conduct analysis of Open Orders.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing inventory or in an inventory role.
  • Experience with cycle counting and audits is helpful.
  • Must be computer literate - Advanced Excel skills are highly preferred.
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while maintaining accuracy of data.
  • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Team player with organizational skills.
  • Prior forklift experience a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Considerable sitting, typing and data entry.
  • Ability to stand, bend, carry, and lift occasionally.
