Batch Maker - 1st Shift - Up to $27/hr– Plymouth, MI

Qualifications:
- Filter paint using pumps or manual filtration methods to ensure purity and consistency.
- Clean tanks and equipment thoroughly to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination of batches.
- Follow written recipes or batch cards to accurately measure and collect materials and equipment required for each color batch.
- Utilize specified equipment to mix or blend paints and chemicals, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collect samples of each batch for quality control purposes and conduct tests to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Skills:
- Previous experience in batch making, preferably in automotive paint manufacturing or a related industry.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, recipes, or batch cards accurately
- Experience using pumps, filtration equipment, and other tools commonly used in batch-making processes
- Basic computer skills for recording batch data and completing necessary documentation.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs
As a Batch Maker, you will be responsible for preparing paint batches according to specified recipes or batch cards, ensuring quality control standards are met throughout the process.
