Job Title: Electronic Games Technician
General Definition: Maintain, repair, and provide technical support for all Electronic Games within the facility while offering great service to our internal and external patrons.
Supervision Received: Electronic Games Manager
Supervision Exercised: N/A
Essential Job Functions:
Perform routine preventative maintenance on all Electronic Gaming Machines to ensure optimal operation by performing task such as resetting the System Boards and calibrating gaming machine monitors.
Repair machines by performing task such as resolving Dollar Bill Acceptor issues, repairing cash boxes, resetting the system, and utilizing standard codes to keep machines running properly.
Assist vendors with all gaming installations, gaming removals, and theme changes including: machine break down, relocations, and set-up using provided resources within the facility.
Adhere to all MICS, TICS, and all standard operating procedures within the facility including Title 31 regulatory requirements.
Must attend all trainings related to this position.
Complete all required paperwork including: Machine Seal requests and approvals from the Gaming Commission, compile a monthly gaming machine list and log with all Electronic Gaming information for all facility machines.
Complete Games down log as they occur and report findings to the EG Manager; post the information for Nationwide access.
Update progressive logs when new progressive machines arrive.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS;
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Training and Experience:
Six (6) months of EG Gaming Experience or six months of previous Technician
experience required
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result
Must be able to pass background checks and receive a gaming license from the
Chickasaw Nation Gaming Commission
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules,
regulations, and policies
Must have the ability to understand written and oral communications
Must possess strong manual dexterity including hand and eye coordination
Must be able to problem solve and operate computers and office equipment
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time in order to properly
perform the assigned job duties
Must be able to work in a casino environment where second hand smoke and flashing
lights are present
