MBS hiring a Business Development Representative near Dry Ridge, KY. Our client is a global automotive manufacturing industry supplier.
You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing processes within the company. You are responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering activities within the manufacturing facility, ensuring that products are produced to meet quality standards, production schedules, and cost objectives. You are a key member of the management team and collaborate with various departments to improve manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and overall plant expenses.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop trusted relationships with our customers and address their needs effectively.
  • Research and identify new market opportunities to ensure our company’s overall business growth.
  • Active communication about customer and market information.
  • Support Top Management to establish a well-balanced customer portfolio.
  • New customer acquisition.
  • Prepare and conduct routine customer visits and be fluent on market trends.
  • Support market development and marketing activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and on trade shows.
  • Be part of the overall RFQ’s activities and Price Calculations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Sales Management, Business Management, Business Engineering, or equivalent field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-years practical work experience in either a Sales or Project Management role.
  • Experience with best practices in customer relations and growth combined with strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel, and previous ERP-/CRM-systems
  • Market and business strategy skills, means ability to grow the business while maintaining and increasing company’s profitability.
  • High technical understanding
  • Proven ability to manage multiple topics within tight timeframes.
  • Ability to adapt and learn the company, inside and out
  • High level of willingness to travel.
