We are currently seeking a Sales Coordinator to support our Elroy Manufacturing Office. This position will work directly with manufacturing sales and the Operations Manager to ensure sales communication needs are being met and that the Elroy office has the supplies needed to be successful. In this role you will be multiple responsibilities and provide administrative support when needed. The idea candidate will have excellent communication and writing skills. Must be reliable, willing to learn and able to adapt to change. Previous sales coordinator experience preferred.

Job Purpose or Summary:

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and efficiency of daily sales and office operations. This multifaceted role involves managing sales and administrative tasks, supporting sales and sight managers, and maintaining a productive and organized work environment. The coordinator serves as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the overall success and professionalism of the organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the sales team in achieving revenue targets by coordinating and facilitating the sales process.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to the sales team.
  • Analyze and report on sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and account details in the CRM system.
  • Generate regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment and coordinate with vendors for maintenance.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, redirect inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Oversee office facilities, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between the sales team, customer support, and other internal departments.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share updates and insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: A High School Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Experience/Training: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably inside sales, customer support, and office administration.

Physical / Working Demands

  • The work environment is a professional office environment where a conservative business dress code is in effect. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to type, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Equipment use includes computer, calculator, and telephone.
  • Ability to understand both spoken and written directions and good vision required.
  • Personal protective equipment required includes protective toed safety shoes and safety glasses with side shields (when on the manufacturing floor).
