BSA Analyst

The primary function of this position is to assist in the bank's Bank Secrecy Act program and Compliance program as a whole.

Reports to: Compliance Officer

Summary of essential job functions:

• Assist in all aspects of the bank’s enterprise-wide BSA program, including the creation and implementation of bank policies and procedures, risk assessments, and training programs

• Assist in monitoring, investigating and reporting suspicious activity

• Assist in the detection and monitoring of high-risk customers

• Assist in managing the bank’s Customer Identification Program.

• Assist in 314a and 314b compliance.

• Help ensure the timely and accurate filing of all Currency Transaction Reports

• Review new and existing business account customers in order to determine the risk profile of customers and compliance with beneficial ownership requirements.

• Assist on other compliance projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business (accounting or finance preferred) or equivalent work experience

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a courteous, and business-like manner

Work Schedule: M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Hours may be adjusted according to departmental need)
