Job Title: Data Analyst

Location:Austin, TX

Pay Range: 25.00-28.00 per hour

 

Position Summary:
• Conducts audits and analysis of information and data pertaining to mandatory fees, and makes corrections as necessary, to ensure fee disclosure compliance across all hotels.
• Provides support to the Senior Manager, Mandatory Guest Fees by gathering data and creating reports as requested
• Gathers appropriate data and information from all relevant sources including internal systems, databases, online sources and shopping competitive set hotels
• Researches and responds to information requests regarding mandatory fees
• Proactively identifies business needs, opportunities and risks and shares them with the Senior Manager, Mandatory Guest Fees as needed
• Maintains historical data from all research and audits
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and diverse resources to achieve overall strategic goals of improving customer satisfaction and operating efficiency within Front Office
• This person must exhibit the following competencies:
o Exceptional communication and analytical skills and be able to present information, both written and orally, in compelling and clear ways. Must have a willingness to listen well and ask questions to ensure understanding.
o Results focused with the ability to deliver results and solution and keep the focus on driving customer value. The willingness to assume personal ownership and accountability.
o The ability to work interdependently and collaborate with others, within or across groups, functions, brands, and geographies to improve effectiveness.

Qualifications
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
• Minimum of three (3) or more years work experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
