Do you have leadership experience with a strong background in Safety? Timpte is looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our growing team in our David City, NE manufacturing facility! This person will be responsible for developing and implementing organizational safety programs at all Timpte locations by engaging the Leadership team and the Shop floor personnel to improve our overall safety performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Champion a positive and proactive safety culture alongside the Leadership team
  • Lead and engage all employee in identifying risk, defining their safety responsibilities, and leading the investigation of each incident by identifying the causes and recommend/complete preventive action against reoccurrence.
  • Maintain company and regulatory policies and procedures dealing with safety/compliance and verify they have been documented, implemented, and communicated.
  • Conduct/direct internal investigations, periodic reviews and audits of safety issues to ensure they comply with Safety rules and regulations.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5-7 years of Safety Leadership experience in a Manufacturing facility.
  • Must possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, etc.
  • Must be able to multi-task different job assignments at the same time.
  • Must have, or be able to achieve, a high level of understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental Regulations and HSE Management System.
  • Must be available to travel to Timpte facilities on a periodic basis.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Must have insurable driving record and valid drivers’ license.
