Aide or Caregiver

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide care and oversight to our residents. The Blessing Center provides a safe and pleasant home for adults with mental illness. Our organization is family-owned and proud to carry on a legacy of caring for people. We value and accept the uniqueness of each individual and strive to go beyond the norm to provide a better quality of life. Care Giver's we will train you to get your L1MA Certification. 

Responsibilities

• Ensuring protective oversight
• Completing face-to-face checks
• Providing personal care needs
• Answering the phone 
• Monitoring for changes in condition
• Assisting the housekeeping, laundry, and dietary team, as needed
• Transporting, if necessary
• Engaging with residents and staff
• Ensuring a safe and pleasant environment
• Promoting a culture of compassion and teamwork
• Communicating appropriately
• Keeping a resident-centered approach

Skills

• No experience or training is necessary
• Willingness to learn
• Desire to help people
• Familiarity with office equipment
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• Excellent attendance
