Auto Body Collision Repair Technician Responsibilities

• Collaborate with collision repair managers to assess and repair damaged vehicle components
• Communicate with the parts team to obtain needed parts
• Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Document all materials utilized and repairs performed
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and follow all established safety procedures
• Test vehicles to ensure that all repair work was completed successfully

Auto Body Collision Repair Technician Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Unwavering ethics and values
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto body technician
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Willingness to learn new technology
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Career-driven mindset
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment
