The Field Service department is accountable for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of Field Service Derrick solids control equipment on rigs in the western Texas and New Mexico region, following the guidance of the area manager. You will also be responsible for handling administrative tasks and fulfilling all designated assignments to guarantee smooth and proficient business operations. Additionally, you will support various tasks within the shop and warehouse when not actively working in the field.
Requirements:
- Conduct comprehensive monthly inspections of all Derrick equipment deployed on rigs within your designated area.
- Physically assess the condition of all Derrick equipment present on rig sites.
- Propose necessary repair actions when warranted.
- Actively promote and sell requisite parts for repairs, along with offering to execute the necessary repairs.
- Accurately input all essential data into the database, encompassing unit numbers (MA numbers), screen frame identifiers, recommended spare components, equipment condition, and accompanying photographs
- Field service will handle routine service calls daily, unless otherwise directed by area managers.
- Weeknight service calls will be managed by the designated on-call field service personnel, with exceptions as determined by area management.
- Weekend service calls for a given weekend will be attended to by the assigned on-call field service personnel, subject to area manager exceptions.
- Encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to service-related repairs, delivery of screen boxes, and contributing to shop operations when necessitated.
- Foster and nurture productive relationships with crucial rig personnel within the designated operational zone
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory records both in the warehouse and the service vehicle.
- Prior to departing the warehouse, ensure that all individual parts are accurately recorded in the handheld device.
- Manage the process of ordering and replenishing warehouse inventory.
- Guarantee the availability of parts essential for conducting required services within the area.
- Coordinate reorder activities in collaboration with the area manager.
Qualifications:
- Preferably possess a High School diploma or GED, though not mandatory
- Exhibit a strong aptitude for teamwork and collaborative work dynamics.
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrate a keen commitment to upholding safety protocols and adhering to company guidelines relevant to safety.
- Maintain up-to-date status and furnish certifications or documentation upon completing mandatory safety training courses.
- Essential functions of the position includes activities such as pushing/pulling, walking, standing, kneeling, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
