Job Title: Temporary Paralegal

Location: Mandeville, LA

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year (based on experience)

Duration: 3 months

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Job Description: As a Temporary Paralegal at our law firm, you will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys and legal team in various litigation matters. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing your experience working within a litigation law firm to efficiently handle legal documents and case files.
• Summarizing depositions and medical records to assist attorneys in case preparation.
• Conducting legal research and compiling relevant information for case strategy.
• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assisting with trial preparation and coordination of exhibits and witnesses.
• Managing and organizing case files and maintaining accurate records.
• Utilizing your excellent typing skills to transcribe dictations and draft correspondence.
• Providing administrative support to attorneys as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a litigation law firm is required.
• Proficiency in summarizing depositions and medical records is essential.
• Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal databases.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Compensation: The salary for this temporary Paralegal position is in the range of $60,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
