Assistant Manager Laboratory Services

Under the general direction of the Director of Laboratory Services and Chief Operating Officer, the Laboratory Services Assistant Manager MT will provide their strong hands-on leadership capabilities to lead a fantastic group of inpatient laboratory staff. The Lab Services Assistant Manager will have the privilege of working autonomously to oversee all laboratory staff, ensuring lab policies and procedures are followed correctly, and stepping in to complete hands-on tasks in the lab as needed.

The Laboratory Services Assistant Manager MT will work closely with the Laboratory Director to develop and implement protocols that align with both state department and TJC The Joint Commission guidelines. The Lab Assistant Manager MT will encourage and motivate their staff to produce quick test turnaround times, ultimately ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care. This laboratory leader must possess 2-3 years of laboratory supervisory experience. This role requires an ASCP MT Medical Technologist Certification.
