Position Overview:

As a Primary Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of roughly 6-7 clients at a time. This includes weekly one on one sessions, bio/psycho/social assessments, treatment planning, maintaining weekly contact with client's family members and group facilitation. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dedicated, and eager to grow! Oasis River Recovery is a client and family centered organization. We are passionate about helping others achieve freedom from drugs and alcohol and we are hoping you are too!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, utilizing various modalities.
  • Prepare, implement, and analyze treatment plans and psychiatric reports.
  • Engage in family therapy sessions to address family dynamics, provide education on addiction, promote healthy communication, and support the recovery process.
  • Collaborate with clinical and medical team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document client progress, treatment interventions, and any significant observations in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Assess and manage crises or emergencies that may arise, applying appropriate intervention strategies to ensure client safety.
  • Participate in treatment planning meetings: Actively contribute to treatment team meetings, providing clinical insights, progress updates, and recommendations for the ongoing care of clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and training to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure and certifications.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters
  • Certifications: LADAC 1 or higher, LCSW, LPC/MHSP
  • Experience: 1+ year in direct clinical experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience
  • Understanding of the range of treatment and interventions needed for chemically dependent individuals.

Compensation details: 48000-62000 Yearly Salary
