JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the tours & merchandise operation in the absence of the supervisor.
Handle scheduling changes with tour team.
Understand register procedures.
Maintain gift shop vault.
Train part time associates in cash handling, cleaning, job responsibilities, and all other duties assigned.
Assist supervisor in recognition, motivation, monitoring, and appraising associates.
Assist supervisor as needed.
Day to day responsibilities of managing the Gift Shop & Tours Operation which include open and closing procedures, training, visual merchandising, financial reporting, special events, and implementing policies and procedures.
Provide excellent Customer Service.
Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines and follow-up on all activities within the operation.
Inventory Management: assist in conducting yearly category inventory counts along with full store inventory
Warehouse and Receiving: experience with receiving and processing incoming merchandise and warehouse efficiencies for an overall productive operation.
Visual Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques with the ability to execute. Maintain appearance and housekeeping standards and administer the same with the team.
Demonstration of strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Team Building: Build skills and successes through continued coaching and performance assessment conversations. Train the Sales Associates in using store systems to support the Customer Experience
Ability to find solutions to challenges with guests, system, tours, and retail shop related issues.
Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
One year of retail management
2 years of customer service experience in retail
Strong communication skills
Experience training and coaching others.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to set priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong customer service skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook
Able to work in a team environment.
