Lead, Clydesdale Tours (Part-time)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Oversee the tours & merchandise operation in the absence of the supervisor. 

• Handle scheduling changes with tour team. 

• Understand register procedures. 

• Maintain gift shop vault. 

• Train part time associates in cash handling, cleaning, job responsibilities, and all other duties assigned. 

• Assist supervisor in recognition, motivation, monitoring, and appraising associates. 

• Assist supervisor as needed. 

• Day to day responsibilities of managing the Gift Shop & Tours Operation which include open and closing procedures, training, visual merchandising, financial reporting, special events, and implementing policies and procedures. 

• Provide excellent Customer Service. 

• Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines and follow-up on all activities within the operation.  

• Inventory Management:  assist in conducting yearly category inventory counts along with full store inventory 

• Warehouse and Receiving: experience with receiving and processing incoming merchandise and warehouse efficiencies for an overall productive operation. 

• Visual Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques with the ability to execute.  Maintain appearance and housekeeping standards and administer the same with the team. 

• Demonstration of strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. 

• Team Building: Build skills and successes through continued coaching and performance assessment conversations. Train the Sales Associates in using store systems to support the Customer Experience 

• Ability to find solutions to challenges with guests, system, tours, and retail shop related issues. 

• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age. 

• One year of retail management 

• 2 years of customer service experience in retail 

• Strong communication skills 

• Experience training and coaching others.  

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. 

• Ability to set priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Strong customer service skills. 

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook 

• Able to work in a team environment.
