This role involves overseeing financial operations, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Manage company bank accounts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Oversee accounts payable to prevent late fees and maintain financial stability.
- Supervise petty cash, check requests, and bank deposits for all centers and committees.
- Maintain bank deposits and records in QuickBooks for efficient financial tracking.
- Ensure compliance with tax obligations, necessary forms, and insurance coverage.
- Collaborate with Treasurer to provide monthly reports.
- Assist in developing the camp's budget and monitor financial performance.
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and assist as necessary.
- Perform month-end reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Commit to ongoing personal development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Demonstrated experience in accounting and familiarity with tax procedures.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
