Job Summary

• Performs professional nursing care under supervision utilizing the nursing process. 
• Coordinates care in an interdisciplinary manner and is accountable for all residents assigned to him/her according to established nurse practice act.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the resident/customer's status. 
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by the facility.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduation from an accredited school of licensed practical nursing, normally a 12-month curriculum. 
• Successful completion of State Board Exams.
• Previous experience in geriatric or medical or surgical preferred. 
• Experience in dealing with the public and clients is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
• Membership in professional organization is preferred.
• CPR certification.

Work Schedule

• Varied shifts as needed; PRN

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $22.75 - $31.50 per hour
