Are you a seasoned professional in the construction industry with a knack for quality control, a passion for travel, and a deep understanding of USACE projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to fill the role of Traveling Quality Control Manager for USACE Projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine your love for travel with your expertise in construction quality control. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality of construction projects across the U.S., ensuring compliance with USACE, NAVFAC, Federal, and Military standards.

Responsibilities

As a Traveling Quality Control Manager, you will:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of quality control for various construction projects across the U.S., ensuring compliance with USACE, NAVFAC, Federal, and Military standards.
2. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify that all construction activities are in accordance with the project specifications and quality standards.
3. Develop, implement, and manage the project Quality Control Plan.
4. Coordinate and communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.
5. Identify, document, and report any quality issues or deviations from the standards, and take necessary corrective actions.
6. Provide training and guidance to the project team on quality control procedures and standards.
7. Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of construction quality control and USACE projects.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control management in the construction industry, specifically with USACE projects.
2. Extensive knowledge of USACE, NAVFAC, Federal, and Military construction standards and regulations.
3. Proficiency in MEP and Structural aspects of construction.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate quality standards and expectations to a diverse team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
6. Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the U.S. to oversee and manage construction projects.
7. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
