CCTV/Fire Alarm Service Technician - Houston/Beaumont

Requirements: Experience as a Data Cable Technician. Available and willing for extensive travel, road warrior. Strong background in installing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems in retail environments. Must hold a current valid State required license(s) for low voltage/burglar alarm/fire alarm/security/CCTV. Data Cable Technician with CAT6 cabling, fiber optic, 24v and 70v paging systems experience. Knowledge and experience with CCTV, Security Systems, and Alarm Systems is a plus. Industry-specific certifications are a huge plus (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA). Please list certifications if any. Flexible and willing to work on-call, day or night shifts as the jobs require. Experience reading blueprints and site maps. Experience in CCTV, voice, and data cabling is a plus. Knowledgeable in identifying independent colors and learning color codes. Ability to work in cramped spaces. Ability to operate a BOOM or scissor lift, and ability to work at heights. Has basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation. Must have knowledge of cabling infrastructure. Proficient with the use of smartphones, personal computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs. Experience in conduit installation is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three years. #M1
